Some great growing companies with high valuation will continue to have good growing businesses, but the stocks will mark time for a decade or two only because the valuations are extremely high and need to adjust. As rates rise stocks generally correct. The situation going forward could be similar to the 1987 interest rate rise from 6.25% to over 10% and the resulting correction in the market the culminated with the 1987 Black Monday crash.
